Ship the computation. Grow the path.

The first is the thesis of the whole architecture, made playable: a computation folded to a tiny seed, shipped across a gap, and rehydrated byte-identical on the far side — proven by a matching hash. The second shows a path that no one designed: stigmergic routing, where trails self-reinforce until the shortest route emerges.

Fold → Ship → Rehydrate

ship computation, not data · the seed replays byte-identical

The "computation" is a chain of rotor operations on a shape. Folding discards the result and keeps only the seed — the initial state plus the operation log (a few bytes). Shipping moves just that seed across the gap. Rehydrating replays the log on the far side and recomputes the result from scratch — and its hash matches the original exactly. You sent the process, not the data, and it arrived whole. This is real: it uses the same deterministic island runtime the toolkits run on.

Stigmergic Routing — the path no one designed

S2 diffusion + S5 networks · pheromone trails self-reinforce

Agents wander the network from source to sink, laying a trail that evaporates over time. Short routes get reinforced faster than they evaporate; long ones fade. No one computes the shortest path — it emerges from local deposits and decay. This is how the corridor mesh routes without a central map: S2 diffusion lays the pheromone, S5 networks carry it.
